Aramco Stadium (Arabic: ملعب ارامكو, romanizedmaleab aramku) will be a multi-purpose stadium located in the north of Khobar, Saudi Arabia.[1][2] One of the 2034 FIFA World Cup stadiums, the stadium will have a capacity of 47,000.[3] It will also be used for the 2027 AFC Asian Cup.[4] A partnership between Roshn, a real estate development company, and Aramco was established to build this stadium.[5] Its opening will take place in 2026.[3]

Description

Construction on the Aramco Stadium began in 2024, and will be completed in 2026.[6] Upon completion, it will be primarily used by Al Qadsiah FC of the Saudi Pro League. [4]

The whirlpool design of the stadium is inspired by sails and waves. [6]
