Palla Srinivasa Rao is an Indian politician. He was elected as the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) to the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly from Gajuwaka on behalf of Telugu Desam Party in 2014 and in 2024. He won with highest majority in the state in the 2024 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election with 95,235 votes.[1][2] On 14 June 2024 he was appointed the Andhra Pradesh State President of the Telugu Desam Party by the National President of Telugu Desam Party Shri. N. Chandrababu Naidu. Palla Srinivasa Rao has become well-known for his staunch opposition to the privatization of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. He is referred to as "the People's Leader" by the people of Visakhapatnam. Mr Palla Srinivasa Rao has won the 2024 elections from Gajuwaka Assembly constituency with strong support from alliance leader Sri Kona Tata Rao, Political Affairs Committee (PAC) member of Janasena party. The duo made a huge impact in the 2024 Andhra Pradesh Assembly General elections landslide win in Gajuwaka.[3][4][5]
