At the time of the 2006 National Census, the population (as the total of its two constituent villages before their merger) was 308 in 79 households, when it was in the former Buin Miandasht District of Faridan County.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 264 people in 87 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 195 people in 70 households,[2] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Buin Miandasht County and the two villages had merged. The rural district was transferred to the new Karchambu District.[4]
