Etymology
editThe name Mardasavas comes from a personal name Lithuanian: Mardõsas, Mar̃dosa, Mardasas which correspondingly originates from Slavic personal names Belarusian: Мардас, Мордас, Маpдасевiч, Ukrainian: Мордас.[1]
