The Mallick ,(old real name Teli) are a small Muslim community found in the state of Bihar in India.

According to several historical books and articles they are considered as Teli community, which means In the modern era they have started telling their own community as mallick. They are mainly concentrated around Nalanda, Bihar Sharif, and Baragawan
