Ilgın is a municipality and district of Konya Province, Turkey.[2] Its area is 1,636 km2,[3] and its population is 53,489 (2022).[1] Its elevation is 1,030 m (3,380 ft).[4]

Etymology
editThe name ılgın comes from the former Byzantine name of the city, Lageina.
