The Human Resources, Science and Technology Committee of the African Union was created to deal with the issues surrounding the development of Education, Illiteracy, Information technology, Communication, Human resources and Technology in Africa.
Commissioners
editThe head of the committee, called a Commissioner of the African Union, has included Nagia Essayed from 2004 to 2008, Sarah Anyang Agbor from July 2017 to January 2022, and Mohamed Belhocine starting in 2022.[1]
Amani Asfour was a Commissioner.[when?][citation needed]
