Land North of the River Tees edit
The original version of this file included land to the north of the River Tees. I'm assuming that it was to show the inclusion of Stockton and Billingham in the County Borough of Teesside which, at the time of its existence, was named as a part of the North Riding. Historical associations are limited to this period and the land north of the river at this point are normally associated with County Durham.
For this reason I have adjusted the map to include only the lands of the North Riding before the advent of the County Borough of Teesside. Francis Hannaway (talk) Francis Hannaway 12:13, 11 February 2012 (UTC)
