Map is inaccurate edit

Just noting that this map is not accurate. Rock County, for one, was not part of the 1st congressional district until 1872. The reapportionment of 1861 kept Rock County in the 2nd district with Dane, Jefferson, and Columbia. Also the map uses the modern county borders, so creates some inaccurate district lines. Many of the northern counties did not exist at the time, such as Marinette County, which, in the 1860s, was entirely part of Oconto County. (The map shows Marinette as part of the 6th district, but in reality, as part of Oconto County, that land should be included in the 5th district.) --Asdasdasdff (talk) 03:26, 5 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
