I took this. I lived half way between the church and the pump, a hundred yards each way. It is wrongly attributed. I took it and I remember going out on a clear winter day to get a nice pic with the sun glowing on the church. If you don't believe me ask the Revd. Michael Banner who at that time was curate but has gone on a bit higher. I did the bloody church flowers and cleaning rosta: I edited the church parish rag for four years. This attribution is stupid, I made the pic. I don't want anything except to correct the attribution. I took the pic, how does geograph.org take the pic? No, I took it. Behind the church is a horse field and a horse was standing by the fence and I wanted him to lean over and so we would have a white horse over the fence in the pic too. The bells are an eight with a major in D and the bell-tower is a bit of a climb but gives lovely views. I translated a lot of old inscriptions in bad Latin out of the churchyard. And yet my pictures are attributed to someone who knows f all about it. Si Trew (talk) 10:33, 14 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
