Is this kind of image suitable for the article?

edit

The image itself is very well done, and I applaud the author for their effort. That being said, I feel the use of digitally altered images as representational of specific historical events to be somewhat controversial. After all, the picture is not an eyewitness account and is very far removed (in time) from the event itself. Is this kind of illustration educational, misleading or both? If it's both, is there a way to contextualize the image in a better way so as to maintain its educational value? I strongly feel this kind of illustration is risky precisely because it's an intentionally re-imagined depiction of a historical event and, for that reason, may mislead readers who internalize the image as de facto representational. --2601:9:7E00:5D7:2122:EE1F:9ABB:E12E (talk) 23:29, 11 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
