I present no sand box here. The best sunset flip that I ever witnessed was on television back in late 1980 or early 1981. I'm sure it was not witnessed live but I instead saw a film of the activity.

For several brutal minutes, Precious Paul Ellering pounded Bill Dundee's anatomy all over the squared circle. Dundee stuck out the punishment and performed a fantastic counter move after an Irish Whip. Ellering threw Dundee over his shoulders onto the mat. Dundee countered by pulling Ellering's waist and then Paul's shoulders first into the mat. Paul Ellering's upper back laid flat against the mat. The referee counted Ellering to a 3 and awarded Dundee with an emotional victory. When presented with photographic pictorial, this should be the lexical example of the Sunset Flip. by Glen N. Gilmore
