Hi @Spinningspark, I clicked on "Export to Wikimedia Commons" and it automatically removed the {{keep local}} tag. I wonder:

1. Is it an issue if Commons:File:Uric acid crystals.jpg is now on Commons?
2. By the way, why should a local copy be kept here?

The "KeepLocal" template wasn't removed, but you added the "Now Commons" template which invites admins to delete the file and puts in a category for deletion. There is no need to add this template, the "Keeplocal" template already has a link to the Commons copy; you should suppress the addition of an additional template. I would also appreciate you uploading to Commons with a different name when you export local files that are being kept. Using the same name prevents the Commons file from being used in a different en.wiki article (because the local file is used in preference when the page is rendered).
