The history of Hannibal Barca is one of pride for Africa. Though, it has been pointed out that the State of Carthage was populated by Philistines or Canaanites, the fact is this is still apart of the African Continent. If history both biblically, and otherwise, show the Philistines to be grandsons of Canaan, then it stands to reason that Carthage was populated by the dark races. And, if one is to locate a dictionary to look up the word dark, it will state the skin is rich with melanin. By the time of Hannabil's birth skin pigmentation had settled in those in and around the Continent of Africa.
