Wustenfuchs' Request answered edit

Map has been updated to separate between Sunni Arab lands and sparsely populated lands. Also, here are the sources:

My map is the result of careful mixing of all the above maps, all of which are not 100% accurate b/c they are probably made by non-Syrian researchers who only do a rough estimate of where different sects live. Plus I did independent research where I contacted Syrians (that I personally know) from most provinces when it came to small details or unclear areas in the map from their respective provinces. My map is by no means perfect, but it should be around 85-90% accurate

New Source edit

Wustenfuchs has provided a new source which is actually very close to the image that I produced. Nevertheless, I will incorporate this new source with a few more changes to make it more accurate.

Well, see also the Deir-ez-Zor area, it's full of Christians. Also the Syrian Kuridsh area also has more Chrisitians in the centre and the Yezidi at the east. Also the Druze area at the south has also more Christians from the western and northern side. The map is not a playground, it should be exacly the same. --Wüstenfuchs 10:07, 19 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
all concerns have been responded to. Moester101 (talk) 22:08, 19 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Distributions of Christians edit

Based on the above posted map sources and so on, it STILL looks as if Christians' geographic distribution are hugely underrepresented...--Yalens (talk) 18:49, 21 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Also, there should be at least some attempt to differentiate Assyrian Christians of the Northeast from the Arabic/Aramaean "mainstream" of Christians located in the other parts of the country, based on their ethnic differences.--Yalens (talk) 18:51, 21 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
