In 2004, my conservatory voice program and I traveled to Austria to sing in Vienna as well as Salzburg. We were given the opportunity to visit the Melk Abbey, too and I was captivated by its beauty. When we ventured into the Sanctuary, I lost it. I began crying in amazement. The beauty just fills your entire being. I felt so unworthy to be standing in such a spectacular place. We were asked to sing a few of our acapella folklore while there, and it just brought more tears to my eyes. It is absolutely beautiful.
