Wrong aircraft ascribed

This image is not of the MkV conversion. A quick look at the six-per-side engine exhausts will confirm that this is a later type. It is in fact a MkIX conversion. See for example Gingell, G.N.M. (Ed), "Supermarine Spitfire 40th anniversary", also titled inside "Supermarine Spitfire - 40 years on", Royal Aeronautical Society (Southampton branch), 1976, where this very photograph is reproduced on Page 361 and identified as a MkIX on the next page. — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 14:03, 26 July 2013 (UTC)
