Copyright/public domain status

I feel this logo may qualify under the public domain as it seems to consist of "simple geometric shapes or text" and thus "does not meet the threshold of originality needed for copyright protection." However, to be safe, I uploaded it as a copyrighted logo with a fair use rational. If someone who is more knowledgeable about IP law would like to change this status, I would not object.
