File talk:Royal Albert and Tamar Bridge from Cornwall.jpg

From my personal familiarity with and knowledge of the location (my first insensible crossing of Brunel's structure was as a newly conceived embryo in 1938 and I must subsequently have crossed one or the other of the bridges well over 100 times), and with the help of the Ordnance Survey map it appears that the bridges span the river in a WNW-ESE direction and that this photographic image was taken from a point on the Cornish side of the river and to the south of the bridges, looking in a northeasterly direction to the Devon side.ChinaKlee (talk) 10:18, 3 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
