This is image as unneutral as it can be.
The black is artifically made darker so that it is more emphesized, while the other colors are fainted to make them less significant. Also, the choice of black as a color and its form, that resembles a spilled ink stain further emphizes the Romanian territories and appears as if the black is crawling to other parts of the map which gives a wrong impression to the observer...
This map is a propaganda work in the first place. Moreover the "user contribution" of Alex:D just cranks up these slanted and biased characteristics even more.
