Washington State Is Incorrect

The chart shows a sizable swing toward the Republican candidate in Washington State between 2012 and 2016. This is incorrect. The state actually swung more Democratic between the two years (while Clinton received a lower % than Barack Obama, her margin over Trump was larger than Obama's margin over Romney). Idaho Also Incorrect

While using the primary source of the Idaho Secretary State makes it appear that the state voted more Democratic in 2016 compared to 2012, using more exact percentages (via Dave Leip's Atlas) shows that the state became slightly more Republican.
