Is that a custard pie? Because about 18 years ago I was on a road trip with some friends, during which I was fervently pondering prime numbers and pi. Along the way I stopped to visit my mother in Virginia, and she gave us a custard pie for the trip. We stopped at a campground for the night, and I laid down under the full moon, contemplated the meaning of its circumference, the mysterious proportion between circle and square. I slept very well and woke up early with the sun. I visited the restroom and went back to start packing my things into the car. I came across the custard pie in the car and thought how great it would be to have custard pie for breakfast. I put the pie down on a handy picnic bench and began pulling things out of my tent, returning to my pi reverie as I did so. My back was only turned for a couple of seconds, but I turned around and to my horror I saw that a slobbery tan dog was mindlessly scarfing down the last bits of the pie. And then he just trotted off. At that moment I suddenly understood the meaning of pi. Slurslee (talk) 18:56, 19 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Mathematically, this is 2π. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Djnickers (talkcontribs) 18:37, 12 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
