How to "Latinize" the lettering?

Wouldn't it be more logical (more faithful to Pappus's reasoning) to represent the first letters of the Greek alphabet by the first letters of the Latin alphabet in the same order, as follows?

Α → A

Β → B

Γ → C

Δ → D

Ε → E

Ζ → F

Η → G

Θ → H

Ι and I omitted

Κ → J

Λ → K

Or else, the Greek letters might be kept unchanged, but that might trouble some readers better accustomed with the Latin alphabet (used also, of course, as the alphabet for the English language of the text)…
