This picture was not meant to be a logo, but was supposed to be a picture.I Nascar1996 (talk) 13:36, 18 February 2010 (UTC) only uploaded to be a picture that I can put on Mount View High School to help the article. If it needs to be deleted I will upload it back on because public domain is really what this should have been but where other users are trying to say its unfree I dont care if someone else is using the photo,in which nobody exept me is using this image.Nascar1996 (talk) 13:36, 18 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

The primary subject of this image is a logo which is someone else's work, this copyright is inherited into the photo, hence you do not have the copyright for it under United States copyright law. I'm not sure what you mean by someone else using the photo - if it is uploaded to Wikipedia it must follow the copyright policy regardless of who uses it. The image can stay on Wikipedia as a non-free image under grounds of fair use. However, it must have a fair use rationale and must not be used in the user space. I will implement both these requirements now. Camaron · Christopher · talk 13:55, 18 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Okay, I have withdrawn the nomination and closed the discussion as there are no problems left to solve. Camaron · Christopher · talk 11:13, 20 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
What is the difference between a regular revolution and a reduced resolution?Nascar1996 (talkcontribs) 00:43, 21 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
Nothing really, though WP:NFCC requires (see criterion 3b) that a minimum resolution version is used in order to justify the use of the image as fair use. Camaron · Christopher · talk 16:14, 21 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
