I would at least suggest you consider keeping the current image in the article. It is was a picture taken many years ago, and the copyright holder is not being affected by this image being used. It is a clear image, on the level of portraits of other candidates. It would be unfortunate if we had to revert to using the unclear black and white image for a candidate from 1988, when color photography was easily accessible. - This is unacceptable per WP:NFCC. Any non-free image of Dukakis fails criteria 1, firstly because we have multiple free images already (see c:Category:Michael Dukakis), secondly because he is a living person and it is still possible to create a new free image. In the election article it would also fail criteria 8 since Dukakis himself is not the subject of the article. January (talk) 19:03, 27 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
