Source edit

This is given as the source of this photo, however the image does not appear at the URL.  pablohablo.

I have listed 4 multiple sources, in case any of them go offline:

Purpose of use edit

The "Purpose of use" section is ... odd; it makes a number of claims about what the image shows. Without a credible source for the image I don't see how it can be known that the girl is "partying", that the photograph was taken in a nightclub etc. I'm not disputing that she went to clubs; this is not unusual behaviour. I just don't see the point of such a hugely speculative "purpose of use" section.   pablohablo. 12:37, 27 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

I've updated the link and yes, the information given (here) doesn't match the source. The Magnificent Clean-keeper (talk) 16:04, 27 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
Thanks. I am going to change the 'purpose of use' section to reflect the source.   pablohablo. 21:49, 27 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
  • I have refined the image details and updated the section "Purpose=" which is intended to explain the purpose in the article, not the source, in a fair-use rationale. The purpose must describe a use compatible with restrictions in WP:FAIRUSE. In this case, the purpose is tied to commentary text in the article. -Wikid77 (talk) 08:48, 29 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
There is no source whatever to bear out claims that Meredith Kercher is here shown "partying" or that the photograph was taken "at a pub" or "at a nightclub" (two different things, surely?). None of this speculative description is needed to justify the inclusion of this image in the article which it illustrates.
Furthermore, such speculation is not allowed in articles; neither should it be included on image description pages. If this is a picture of Meredith Kercher "partying", if this picture is taken "at a pub" or "at a nightclub" (you need to choose one) then we need a source. Otherwise it's just your opinion of where the picture was taken and what it shows.   pablohablo. 12:46, 29 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
