Hey.. is it just me or should miles and kilometers be switched around in the map key?

Is this right? Parts of the great wall go into Korea? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.24.248.243 (talk) 01:27, 13 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

There is a special history manipulation project by Chinese government about Manchuria including extending the length of Great Wall edit

China has the special project manipulating its history by extending its ancient presence on north eastern part of the China - Manchuria, the territories controlled by Kitan, Kokuryo(ancient Korean), etc. Extending the length of Great Wall is just part of it and has been criticized by the international historical communities. Do not believe in this pictures. The state run institute which reported the new length of the Great Wall is totally controlled by Chinese government. The Great Wall was never built on Korean peninsula which built by Kokuryo (ancestor of Koryo or Korea).

Korean media criticized the Chinese report on Great Wall extension

The White Wall never reached Mongolia. Fake China. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 182.160.39.12 (talk) 09:04, 7 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Small mis-translation in map edit

The map was apparently created in German, and then translated to English. There is one fragment of German left in the English version: on the timeline, the label for the two Han Dynasty sections gives the age as "206 BC - 8 AC und 25 - 220 AC". The "und" should clearly be "and" in the English version. I believe the "BC" and "AC" are also wrong, as "AC" doesn't mean anything time-related in English. Either the "AC" should be changed to "AD" ("Anno Domini"), or they should both be changed to "BCE" ("Before Common Era") and "CE" ("Common Era"), respectively. -- Dan Griscom (talk) 17:32, 29 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
