Please state where was this image taken from (lat & long) etc, as the moon's orientation changes with latitude. If this image is "the right way up", presumably it was taken from the southern hemisphere. GilesW 16:56, 15 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Remember: it's a lunar eclipse, which means we're looking away from the Sun, so Venus it can never be. But: there wasn't a planet there at the time, so it must be a star, however much it looks like a planet. --JorisvS (talk) 12:48, 10 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
