This is misleading and rather agenda oriented rather than NPOV encyclopedic: these "long terms effects" are not of heroin use, but rather long term effects of unsanitary IV administration, of anything, not inherent in the chemical of heroin itself. Any other route would not manifest (the majority of) these conditions. 4.242.192.80 (talk) 06:20, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
- Thank you for the comment. I noted in the descriptive text that the effects are of overall heroin use and not only the substance itself.Mikael Häggström (talk) 15:24, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
