This is not a picture of the Jackson St. Bridge, but rather a picture of the Purple Heart Memorial Bridge. The Jackson Street Bridge is the older of the two bridges that span the Red River in Alexandria, LA. The Jackson St. Bridge is an older, supsension/cable bridge. The bridge pictured is the newer, concrete column bridge that connects I49 to the Pineville Expressway.
