Clarification inquiry

I am having trouble understanding some elements of the illustration:

• What is the meaning of the question marks?
• The lower layer does not have a label. Is it bedrock?

Image Neutrality

This image appears to be trying to make a point about pollution risk from fracking, indicating potential pollution vectors via "question marks," and also implying that "induced seismicity" into a "pre-existing fault" is also a vector for leakage. However, no sources are included to back up these implications, and so I believe this violates WP:NPOV PenguiN42 (talk) 02:23, 31 January 2020 (UTC)
