This photo has always struck me as completely staged. Seeing that it is a Curtis photo, and knowing now that most of his photos were heavily staged and interfered with - he outfitted the subjects and posed them, rather than simply documenting them in their traditional dress and settings, as he misled people to believe - I am seriously questioning whether this photo should be used to document any sort of spiritual or ceremonial activity or person. - CorbieV ^☊ ☼ 22:39, 20 March 2018 (UTC)
