Ernst Haeckel is German. Should change to {{PD-Germany}} ? 70 years after the death of the creator would long enough in Germany ? -- 65.95.106.88 18:01, 12 June 2006 (UTC)

Question: Copied art?

It appears that Ernst Haeckel's (5) Rhacophorus pardalis (Wallace) frog was copied from an earlier work done by Alfred Russel Wallace, as also noted in discussion here:[[1]] Under 'Frog Image'. My question is, at that time, did it violate a copyright? DiligentPen (talk) 10:58, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
