Cybrarian's note. I am using Wiki "Download as PDF Tools" as source notebooks. The hypertexting of the pdf pages I am downloading link back to Wikipedia.org but the Neolithic, new stone age, page cannot be rendered. (bummer)
For example, I can start with "History of the world" and devolve through Geologic, Palentologic, Anthropologic, and Historic time scales to the "Mother Goddess flanked by two lionesses from Çatalhöyük (Turkey)" http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=File%3AAnkara_Muzeum_B19-36.jpg
However, I do not recommend this method! Tho' Wiki may be finite, I can find no end to the hypertexting in real time. Wiki pages link pictures and text and if I am currently interested in a particular picture, I can just click on the link of the pdf file and get back to that particular time period. But, art is universal and I get sucked back into the wiki space-time continuum when I get here-there whenever. No, pick a particular space and time and specialize.
I am organizing pictures and Wikipages in folders in my computer. I go to my folders, files and pictures and then go to those webpages. Right! Even categories like geology, archeology, paleontology, and history do not fit into neat categories like women in art. Every specialist seems to have he/r own idea of creation as if creation is personal.
