Be consistent

Use a "standard" layout for atheism-related articles (see layout style, "The perfect article" and Featured articles).
Add Atheism info box to all atheism related talk pages (use {{WikiProject Atheism}} or see info box)
Ensure atheism-related articles are members of Atheism by checking whether [[Category:Atheism]] has been added to atheism-related articles – and, where it hasn't, adding it.

Maintenance, etc.

Find sources for all positions of an article (see Citing sources and atheism references).
Try to expand stubs. Ideas and theories about life, however, are prone to generating neologisms, so some stubs may be suitable for deletion (see deletion process).
Watch the list of atheism-related articles and add to accordingly.
Always write for an encyclopedia.

State atheism needs a reassessment of its Importance level, as it has little to do with atheism and is instead an article about anti-theist/anti-religious actions of governments.

Secular movement defines it as a being restricted to America in the 21st century.

Estonia? edit

Where the hell is Estonia on this map? It should be between Finland and Latvia, but there's nothing there!

The map needs black borders. Estonia is there, you just can't see it because it's in the 0-10% group and thus white on a white background.

New colour scheme edit

The new colour scheme is not functional, the degrees of purple are intuitive (understandable without legend) and show a trend, the new colour scheme mainly provides a lollypop image; which is hard to interpret. Why is Turkey included in the European countries? Officially it's an Asian country and not part of the EU yet. So it shouldn't be included in this map. Iaberis 15:53, 11 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

I tend to disagree. European Union ≠ Europe (political union ≠ geographical location). Norway is not in the European Union, but I doubt anyone would dare say that it's not a European country. Same goes for Iceland, Switzerland, Croatia, Serbia, Ukraine, and probably some others I can't name right now.

This image shows the percentage of people who are registered member of a church. In Germany it shows the percentage of people who pay the church tax which means that they are a registered member of a protestant or catholic church, but this doesn't mean that the rest of the inhabitants doesn't believe in God. Estonia and the Czech Republic are white - people livin there don't believe in God at all? Johnny2323 (talk) 21:55, 27 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

About Czechia, I know that many Czechs indeed do not believe in a God. Still there are many Christian statues along the roads...perhaps that's something pre-christian and they are not removed or something. In France they wouldn't allow it. Byt the way....how is it possible that Spain scores lower than Italy? Spain is fucking the most catholic country in the world! Mallerd (talk) 17:55, 18 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Well, in the Czech Republic, I think there are about 40% of Christians, so it's not that small a number. The statues among the roads were built when there were far more Christians. And we aren't going to take down statues that are hundreds of years old, that would be vandalism. Puchiko (Talk-email) 11:06, 19 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
