Nonstandard lowercase form edit

Image:Digamma2 (Ϝϝ).png: Digamma as ordinarily experienced by Classicists, in four fonts.

This image headlines the digamma article and is widely linked elsewhere via the Greek alphabet template. Therefore I wish its lowercase form were not so eccentric as to mislead the reading public about how digamma is ordinarily written. Its preference for curves over angles, especially at the top which is basically derived from our modern f, is most strikingly nonstandard. I feel less strongly about its being written on the line (below the line is more usual, as in Image:Digamma2 (Ϝϝ).png, which I've uploaded today. Wareh (talk) 19:08, 4 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
