Would somebody please mention the cause why there is a death penalty for Jews leaving the ghetto?

According to the image file it is because it has been verified and proven that jews who left the ghetto spread a type of fever to others outside the ghetto.

The disease referred to in the image file is "Fleckfieber". The generally accepted translation of this term is "louse-borne typhus".Rassrass (talk) 09:49, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
