- You think circumcision is mutilation? What?? If circumcision had ANY adverse affects, there wouldn't be such a thing as the Jewish people.
Every single male has been circumcised at 8 days old (unless medically unwell) for 3000 years. If it somehow had an adverse affect on the penis, how do you suggest that Jewish people conceive and have children?
Its not barbaric, in most modern cases (amongst Jews) it is done with surgical precision.
The baby doesn't remember a thing, there is no long-lasting pain, there is no belittlement of health, there is little blood and the list of normal things goes on.

- Circumcision is not generally performed on females (at least in Judaism, with the exception of a minority of African Jews)...just a little info!
