Correction required

The map of Europe on this diagram excludes European Russia. Choalbaton (talk) 17:33, 29 January 2009 (UTC)

Somebody must fix that. Every trans-continental country must be split accordingly between the wto continents - Russia, Kazakhstan, Georgia and Azerbaijan between Europe and Asia, Egypt between Africaand Asia, and Panama between North America and South America. I came along to say the same thing, only with less categorical musts. (Also, Wikipedia’s convention appears to be to count all of Panama as North America, and Turkey’s missing from the above list – the European part of Turkey isn’t in the European or Asian profile.) –Ahruman (talk) 12:24, 8 October 2009 (UTC)

The outlines were merely meant as an alternative to a textual representation of the continents' names, to keep the diagram as free of language barriers as possible. As a mere icon to represent a continent the outlines are neither meant to be geologically nor politically correct renderings. The actual shape is imprecise anyway, since the paths have been simplified. (That is also the reason why the European part of Turkey is no longer distinguishable.) Apart from that there are no subdivisions or markings that would allow for an easy splitting and remerging of the continents according to the wishes stated here. Basically the outlines would have to be recreated from scratch. --chris 論 17:05, 14 December 2009 (UTC)

Antarctica Pop.

Should Antarctica have no visible population bar? The way it is currently makes it look like Australia has a population just greater than that of Antarctica, but obviously their population is thousands of times greater than Antarctica's. 67.165.8.42 (talk) 22:18, 26 January 2011 (UTC)
