grammar quibble edit

I found the first sentence pretty awkward: "the ability with which a global climate model (the DOE PCM [1]) is able..." This sentence has "an ability ... is able", and "the ability with which" doesn't scan well. I haven't thought quite how to rephrase this yet. Maybe "the ability of the model ... to" or "the extent to which the model ... is able" Birdbrainscan 21:06, 9 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Scale base edit

Why is the temperature graph shown on a different y-axis origin to the other data? I accept that they are in different units, but they are still relative measures (to 1900 as I can understand from the graph). Therefore, lining up the origins seems logical and would allow easier observation of correlation between any of the factors.--Yeti Hunter 03:55, 25 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Climate Change Attribution Graph edit

I have tried (a few times) to access the link to this article (www.cgd.ucar.edu/pcm) to learn more about the subject. I'm having a problem reaching the site and i'm not sure whether the link is dead or if it's a problem with my internet connection. If the link is no longer available is there another link showing the graph, as there are little or no other citations to access on the article itself. I'll keep trying to access the only link just in case it is my connection. Thank You. --Dean1970 12:43, 7 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

The link works fine for me. The graph doesn't come from there, of course, its made by DF William M. Connolley 16:26, 7 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
