Visibility issues

Visibility issues, consensus searching

Returning to this file, I see that we have arrived back exactly where we started: with the AfD and CSU nearly indistinguishable. Reading through the changes, I see that there seems to be objections both to changing the CSU colour even slightly, and to merging the CDU and CSU together under one colour. Therefore, I have edited the file to the only other solution which I can see: moving the CSU to the other side of the CDU. This somewhat breaks the ideological left-right pattern, but I believe that already has been broken by having the Greens to the right of the SPD. As a result, I consider this a small price to pay to make the diagram much clearer. However, I realize that some may differ on this, so the topic is definitely still up for discussion. Not a bad idea, but we'll have to see how long it last. It's amazing how we can nor even agree on a small tone change of the shade of blue without polemic. As I said on my Wikimedia Commons talk page, if visibility is a serious issue (I personally can tell the CSU and AfD apart fine), then changing the CSU shade slightly would be acceptable, on the condition that the colour templates, and the use of the CSU's colour elsewhere, remains the same, as it's the official party colour. This will cause slight confusion, but people should be able to work it out.

I would prefer to change the CSU colour than move it to the other side. The Greens in Germany are considered centrist, and as such are put between the SPD and FDP. This leaves the CSU the only ones out of place. JackWilfred (talk) 00:20, 19 October 2017 (UTC)

I agree, the CSU is more socially conservative than CDU thus a little bit on the right. There should be a guide for this kind of stuffs. --Dereck Camacho (talk) 00:40, 19 October 2017 (UTC)
