This photograph was taken from the mountain range overlooking the capital of the island, Argostoli. The port of Argostoli can be seen towards the centre of the photograph with ferrys and yachts coming and going. The capitals urban area can also been seen sprawling across the bay.
Towards the top of the photograph the island can be seen curving back on itself through the town of Lixouri.
The scattered residential areas directly below the mountains are of multiple towns and villages.
