I think that this photo is disgusting, and I would like to to query on how they got this shot without the risk of someone contracting malaria? I think that this topic need further discussion, surely human health, as malaria is a life threatening disease, should not be sacrificed in order to aid Wikipedia! 82.2.160.168 (talk) 18:59, 9 September 2008 (UTC)

There is no indication that this specific mosquito carries any Plasmodium sporozoites. I think it's a general mosquito picture that is used in other articles also like "Mosquitoes" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.51.124.202 (talk) 19:20, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
