The photograph viewed is not the Adelaide Town Hall but the General Post Office. The town hall is on the eastern side of King William St (the central road running throught the city mile) and does not abut Victoria Square. The central feature of this photograph is the Tower of the GPO. The clock tower of the Town Hall is the lesser spire on the left of the photo.
