With regards to this and this, I could not find a suitable replacement file of which I could be sure it was free. However, I'm not versed in these matters, so if anyone can provide a corresponding, positively free image, please bring it to my attention. – ὁ οἶστρος (talk) 19:40, 27 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
- No existing free image is only part of WP:NFCC#1. The other part is that no free image could be created. When it comes to living people there is a strong presumption that someone could take their picture and release it under a free license. If there's a reason that this could not be done in this particular case, please let us know. VernoWhitney (talk) 19:48, 27 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
- Can you please tell me why a person can not simply walk up to Mr. Meier, take his photograph, and release it under a free license? VernoWhitney (talk) 20:48, 27 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
- P.S. I believe part of the corresponding guideline at WP:NFC#UULP may also be of use in clarifying this situation. VernoWhitney (talk) 20:53, 27 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
