there are several yellow dots just below (south) of china. It makes no sense unless china is exporting to the ocean. someone please erase and/or correct the map mistake.

Those yellow dots are Hong Kong.--184.153.21.136 (talk) 04:09, 28 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Granted Hong Kong and Macao have special status (as independent economic zones I think), but both are within the PRC. IMO, its confusing to say the least. China is exporting to Hong Kong, China ?! Maybe there needs to be more specific clarification on this. Gizziiusa (talk) 02:40, 27 April 2012 (UTC)gizziiusaReply

Hong Kong is an SAR with a totally different economy to China. It is a completely capitalist entity with different taxes, currencies, residencies, etc. The figures do seem a bit odd though. There are about 7 yellow dots representing HK so HK is importing about 70% of the amount that the US imports - thats HK with a population of around 7 million compared with the US and its 350 million?XANIA - ЗAНИAWikipedia talk | Wikibooks talk 14:30, 20 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
