Description
English: Xu Yaoyin Tang Ding: a ding cauldron (for boiling water) cast by Yin, the yaoyin (official in charge of sacrifice) of the Xu kingdom, unearthed in 1982, Tomb M306, Shaoxing. Inscribed with 44 characters recording Yin's ambition to restore the Xu kingdom which had been destroyed by Wu. 40.8 cm tall. Collection of Zhejiang Provincial Museum.
中文:徐肴尹汤鼎,1982年绍兴306号墓出土。肴尹是徐国管理祭祀的官衔。高40.8厘米。浙江省博物馆藏品。铭文44字,记载徐肴尹䖜祭祀祖先神灵,牢记亡国之耻,图复国称王。
