Summary

Description
English: Wyalup-Rocky Point, Bunbury, Western Australia. Wyalup means a "place of mourning", as, historically, the area was a Noongar burial ground. The Basalt columns on the beach are from a 130 million-year-old volcanic eruption, remnants of which can be seen at only three points in Western Australia, one of them at Wyalup-Rocky Point. It dates from the separation of Australia from India and Antarctica.
