Description
English: This engraving shows Worsley Brick Hall in a scenic setting. In the foreground, the Bridgewater Canal is bustling with activity, with vessels and cargoes passing by. The Brick Hall was built by the Duke of Bridgewater between 1760 and 1770. It was later demolished in 1840 and was replaced with another residence which became known as Worsley New Hall.
