DescriptionWild Camping outside Abbey St Bathans (6782543190).jpg
With no pubs, no B&Bs, no campsite and no youth hostel I had little choice at Abbey St Bathans but to wild camp. The owner of the Riverside Restaurant had told me there were some good spots just outside the village and I found one alongside Whare Burn.
Turned out the ground was rather too firm but the water source was excellent.
